The Huber Thrasher/Tractor Company

My Great Great Grandpas tractor company...I wish.
The Huber Manufacturing Company manufactured steam and gasoline tractors, threshers and road-building equipment. The Company was founded by Edward Huber. He was an inventor, an industrialist and a mechanical genius, and was Marion, Ohio's first entrepreneur. As the founder of several manufacturing companies including The Huber Manufacturing Company, he was known for his inventing and manufacturing of farm machinery -- most of all for developing the first workable gasoline tractor. Prior so the development of the gasoline tractor, he was nationally known for his Huber steam engine and for grain separators. His steam engines and thrashing machines are favorites for collectors of early farm machinery. Edward Huber also found time so be a community leader. His influence on the Marion area was great as his companies provided major employment.
